A writer and editor for 28 years, Nigel Cawthorne has contributed to and edited more than sixty books on most aspects of popular culture, including sport, fashion, movies and music. As well as appearing on numerous TV and radio programmes as critic and commentator, he writes for Music Week, Studio Week, Masters of Music, and That's Jazz. His books include America in the Sixties, The Sixties Source Book, and the highly acclaimed Takin' Back My Name: the Confessions of Ike Turner.
